التوزيع الأشهر في المجالس السعودية هو الجلسات على محيط الغرفة بشكل U، لأنه يخلي الكل يشوف بعض ويسهّل الضيافة. في المجالس الطويلة ممكن تقسم الغرفة لجلستين متقابلتين، وفي الصغيرة يكفي شكل L مع طاولة وسطية. المهم تترك ممراً واضحاً من الباب إلى صدر المجلس.The most common layout in Saudi majlis is seating around the walls in a U, so everyone faces each other and serving is easy. A long room can be split into two facing seating areas; a small one works with an L and a central table. Whatever the layout, keep a clear path from the door to the head of the room.

• عربي تقليدي: جلسات أرضية أو منخفضة، مساند، ونقوش وخامات دافئة.Traditional: floor or low seating, back cushions, warm patterns and materials.
• مودرن: كنب بخطوط بسيطة وألوان محايدة وتلبيس جدران نظيف.Modern: clean-lined sofas, neutral colours and simple wall cladding.
• نيو كلاسيك: تفاصيل جبس وبانوهات خفيفة مع أثاث مريح.Neo-classic: light gypsum mouldings and panelling with comfortable furniture.
• مزيج: توزيع تقليدي بخامات وألوان عصرية، وهو الأكثر طلباً.A blend: a traditional layout with contemporary materials — the most requested.

الجدار الرئيسيThe feature wall

السقف والإضاءةCeiling and lighting

• ثريا مركزية فوق منتصف الجلسة لا فوق الممر.Centre the chandelier over the seating, not the walkway.
• إضاءة بطبقات: قوية للاستقبال، وخافتة للسهرات.Layer the lighting: bright for receiving guests, soft for evenings.

الأقمشة والضيافةFabrics and hospitality

• اختر أقمشة سهلة التنظيف ومقاومة للبقع، فالقهوة والشاي جزء من المجلس.Choose easy-clean, stain-resistant fabrics — coffee and tea are part of every majlis.
• السجاد والستائر والأقمشة الناعمة تخفف صدى الصوت في المجالس الكبيرة.Rugs, curtains and soft fabrics reduce echo in large rooms.
• خصص ركن قهوة قريباً من الباب لتسهيل الضيافة.Place a coffee corner near the door to make serving easy.
