لماذا الخامة مهمة؟Why the material matters

خزانة الملابس تُفتح وتُغلق كل يوم، وتحمل وزناً على رفوفها وقضبانها لسنوات. الخامة تحدد ثلاثة أشياء: قوة تثبيت المفصلات والمسامير، وثبات الألواح مع الحرارة والرطوبة، وشكل الخزانة النهائي. ولا توجد خامة واحدة الأفضل في كل شيء؛ الاختيار الصحيح يعتمد على مكان الخزانة وطريقة استخدامها والشكل الذي تريده.A wardrobe is opened and closed every day and carries weight on its shelves and rails for years. The material determines three things: how well hinges and screws hold, how stable the panels stay with heat and humidity, and how the finished wardrobe looks. No single material wins on everything; the right choice depends on where the wardrobe sits, how it is used and the look you want.

الشيبوردChipboard

ألواح مصنوعة من رقائق خشب مضغوطة، وتأتي مكسوّة بطبقة جاهزة بألوان سادة أو بأشكال تشبه الخشب. هو الخيار العملي والأكثر انتشاراً في تفصيل الخزائن، خصوصاً للأجسام والرفوف.Boards made from compressed wood chips, supplied with a ready-made surface in solid colours or wood-look patterns. It is the practical, most widely used choice for wardrobes, especially for carcasses and shelves.

• مميزاته: عملي، متاح بتشكيلة كبيرة من الألوان، وسطحه الجاهز سهل التنظيف.Pros: practical, available in a wide range of colours, with an easy-clean ready-made surface.
• ما ينتبه له: حوافه تحتاج إغلاقاً جيداً لأنها تتأثر بالماء والرطوبة إذا تُركت مكشوفة.Watch out for: its edges must be well sealed, as they are affected by water and humidity if left exposed.

MDFMDF

ألواح مصنوعة من ألياف خشب ناعمة مضغوطة. سطحها أملس جداً ومتجانس، لذلك تُستخدم كثيراً في الواجهات والأبواب، وتعطي الخزانة شكلاً عصرياً نظيفاً.Boards made from fine compressed wood fibres. The surface is very smooth and uniform, so it is widely used for fronts and doors and gives a wardrobe a clean, modern look.

• مميزاته: سطح أملس، سهل التشكيل والحفر، ومتاح بأنواع مقاومة للرطوبة.Pros: a smooth surface, easy to shape and route, available in moisture-resistant grades.
• ما ينتبه له: أثقل من الشيبورد، ويتأثر بالماء المباشر إذا لم تُحمَ حوافه.Watch out for: heavier than chipboard, and vulnerable to direct water if its edges are left unsealed.

قشرة الخشبWood veneer

طبقة رقيقة من خشب طبيعي تُلصق فوق اللوح، فتعطيك شكل الخشب الحقيقي وعروقه وملمسه، مع ثبات اللوح المصنّع تحته.A thin layer of real wood bonded over the board, giving you the genuine look, grain and feel of timber with the stability of the engineered board beneath.

• مميزاتها: شكل فاخر ودافئ، وكل لوح له عروق مختلفة قليلاً فيبدو طبيعياً.Pros: a warm, premium look, and every panel's grain differs slightly so it reads as natural.
• ما ينتبه له: تحتاج عناية أكثر من الأسطح الجاهزة، وتكلفتها أعلى.Watch out for: needs more care than ready-made surfaces, and costs more.

الرطوبة في المنطقة الشرقيةHumidity in the Eastern Province

الرطوبة في الدمام والخبر والظهران عامل لا يمكن تجاهله، خصوصاً في الغرف القريبة من الحمامات أو المطلة على البحر. لهذا ننصح بألواح مقاومة للرطوبة في الأجسام، وإغلاق كل الحواف المكشوفة، وترك فتحات تهوية مدروسة داخل الخزانة، وعدم إلصاق ظهر الخزانة مباشرة بجدار فيه رطوبة.Humidity in Dammam, Khobar and Dhahran can't be ignored, especially in rooms next to bathrooms or facing the sea. We recommend moisture-resistant boards for carcasses, sealing every exposed edge, planned ventilation inside the wardrobe, and never fixing the back directly against a damp wall.

• تبي دفء الخشب الحقيقي وشكله؟ قشرة الخشب.Want the warmth and look of real wood? Wood veneer.
