لماذا تحت الدرج؟Why under the stairs?

تحت الدرج مساحة موجودة أصلاً، وغالباً تكون في الصالة أو قريبة من المدخل، يعني في مكان تحتاج فيه تخزين يومي. لكن شكلها غير منتظم: السقف ينزل مع الدرج، والعمق يختلف من طرف لطرف. لهذا الخزائن الجاهزة نادراً ما تركب فيها صح، والتفصيل على المقاس هو اللي يستغل كل زاوية.The space under the stairs already exists, and it is usually in the living area or near the entrance — exactly where you need everyday storage. But its shape is irregular: the ceiling slopes with the stairs and the depth changes from one end to the other. That's why ready-made units rarely fit properly, and made-to-measure joinery is what uses every corner.

أدراج سحب كاملةFull pull-out drawers

أكثر حل عملي: أدراج أو وحدات تنسحب للخارج على مجاري قوية، كل وحدة بارتفاع يناسب مكانها تحت ميل الدرج. تسحب الوحدة وتشوف كل اللي فيها بدون ما تدخل راسك في زاوية مظلمة. تناسب الشنط والأغراض الموسمية وأدوات التنظيف.The most practical solution: drawers or tall units that slide out on heavy-duty runners, each sized to its spot under the slope. You pull a unit out and see everything inside without reaching into a dark corner. Ideal for luggage, seasonal items and cleaning supplies.

خزانة أحذية وجاكيتاتShoe and coat storage

إذا كان الدرج قريب من المدخل، تحت الدرج مكان مثالي لخزانة الأحذية والعبايات والجاكيتات، مع رف للمفاتيح والشنط اليومية. ننصح بفتحات تهوية مدروسة في أبواب خزانة الأحذية.If the stairs are near the entrance, the space beneath is ideal for shoes, abayas and coats, with a shelf for keys and everyday bags. We recommend planned ventilation in shoe-cabinet doors.

ركن قهوة أو مكتب صغيرA coffee corner or small desk

في الجزء العالي من المساحة تقدر تسوي ركن قهوة بسطح عمل وأرفف للأكواب، أو مكتب صغير للدراسة والشغل من البيت. هذا يحتاج تخطيط مسبق لنقاط الكهرباء، وإذا كان ركن قهوة فيه ماء، يحتاج تمديدات وتصريف.In the taller part of the space you can create a coffee corner with a worktop and cup shelves, or a small desk for study and working from home. This needs electrical points planned in advance — and if the coffee corner uses water, plumbing and drainage too.

أرفف عرض بإضاءةLit display shelving

إذا الدرج مكشوف في الصالة وتبي المساحة تكون جزء من الديكور، أرفف مفتوحة بإضاءة مخفية تعرض التحف والكتب، وتقفل الجزء المنخفض بأبواب للتخزين.If the stairs are open to the living room and you want the space to be part of the décor, open shelves with hidden lighting can display ornaments and books, with doors closing off the low part for storage.

قبل التفصيلBefore you build

• تأكد وش يوجد تحت الدرج: بعض البيوت فيها لوحة كهرباء أو تمديدات أو خزان. لازم نترك فتحة صيانة يوصل لها الفني بسهولة.Check what is under the stairs: some homes have an electrical panel, services or a tank there. An access opening must be left so a technician can reach it easily.
• اختر خامة مقاومة للرطوبة، خصوصاً إذا المساحة قريبة من حمام أو مطبخ.Choose moisture-resistant boards, especially if the space is near a bathroom or kitchen.
• فكّر في الأبواب: أبواب بدون مقابض تفتح بالضغط تعطي شكل نظيف، وتخلي الخزانة تختفي في الجدار.Think about the doors: handle-less push-to-open doors give a clean look and let the storage disappear into the wall.
• الإضاءة الداخلية تفرق كثير في المساحات العميقة، وتشتغل تلقائياً مع فتح الباب.Interior lighting makes a big difference in deep spaces, and can switch on automatically when the door opens.
